Learning & Training
ROC offers courses of formal accredited
training to gain certificated vocational and personal qualifications.
Individuals are helped to find work experience placements
to enhance the ROC work-based learning schemes. ROC offers
a wide range of learning and training opportunities in an
ever-growing number of places across Devon and Cornwall. For
those who enjoy the value of creativity there are many different
crafts to learn. The basic skills of reading, writing, numbers
and computer skills are a part of everyday learning. These
are also the basis of the skills and experience needed in
productive work. There is the chance for personal development
by learning new living and social skills. People are helped
to find or improve personal qualities such as self- confidence,
mobility, flexibility and responsibility. All learning and
training opportunities are matched to the needs of each individual.
