Supported Living
People with a learning disability
living in their own home, who need to have a frame work of
support to help them in their everyday life, can do so with
supported living. ROC also provides support to groups of tenants
who rent a house or a flat together. ROC adapts the style
and level of support to suit individual needs, enabling people
to gain independence and take to up various opportunities
that might include learning domestic skills, budgeting finances,
shopping, community events and facilities, sports, going to
the cinema, eating out and pub visits. ROC is continually
developing new schemes. Through a process of personal planning
with frequent review and feedback, ROC strives to maintain
the best quality of support, meeting each individual’s
needs and aspirations in order to ensure the success of supported
living schemes.
