Nige Billings, Manager at ROC Creative, was very pleased to be able to present Alison Mitchinson with her Employee Recognition Award recently. Alison has worked hard building up the skills base and portfolio work of the two photography groups which has led to us being able to mount sophisicated work such as the "We Are ROC Creative" portrait exhibition. 

Nige said, "The beautiful portrait banner in the Arena, for which Alison was nominated for the award, is not only a fantastic visual focal point for the space, but is a real point of pride among the service users. The production of the piece showed dedication, commitment and an application which went way beyond the requirements of her job. I gather that long evenings in the back garden and lots of tea were involved!

"I'm blessed to have such a professional, talented and hard-working staff team and it's great every now and again to be able to acknowledge that in a special way such as this."

ROC's Employee Recognition Award is given through the Employee Council in recognition of innovative or creative ideas that are carried through to make a difference to a service or area within ROC.
