One of ROC Active's regular attendees has been selected to join the GB Team for sprinters with Downs Syndrome and will be representing Great Britain in an international athletics competition in May 2012. Mark has been receiving mainstream athletics sprints coaching at Exeter Harriers Athletics Club for the last 18 months. 

All of this adds to a very exciting year for Mark who has made such good progress in his job with Parkwood Leisure that he has been promoted to a Recreation Assistant and his part time hours have been increased. In September Mark also moved into independent accommodation with 3 friends.
